It Don’t Take 3 Years

We’ve all heard that the average business
doesn’t show a profit for 3-5 years.
What a crock!
When I started my first business (a cleaning
and restoration company) back in 1996, I
actually believed this garbage.
I invested over 80 Grand just so I could open
the doors to the business. And sure enough,
it didn’t show a profit until the 3rd year.
In fact, for the first two years, I lost money
every time I stepped foot out of the office,
and it was in the thousands.
Thankfully I was introduced to a consultant
that showed me how to turn the business around.
With his help I became one of the most
successful by-referral-only cleaning and
restoration companies in Washington State.
Along the way I discovered automated income
systems.
I used the knowledge I gained as a successful

And you know what?
It didn’t take no 3-5 years to show a profit.
I had a profit within the first week.
Now granted, it wasn’t a huge profit, but it
was profit nevertheless. And let me assure
you… I was fired up.
Before I knew it, I was making over 5 Grand
a month, in my spare time.
Needless to say, this was a much better way
to make a living. That’s why I decided to sell
the cleaning and restoration business and
retire on April 19, 2004.
I tell you this story not to brag or boast,
but to let you know that you ain’t gotta wait
3-5 years to show a profit in business.
I recently started another automatic income
system and made $2,716.96 in the first 28 days.
My cost of setting the project up was a measly
$421.09. That means I had a net profit of
$2,295.87.
Not too shabby for a few hours of my time.
But that’s not the best part of the story.
To this day, the income system is still running,
and producing a nice little pile of cashola for
me each month… with virtually no effort on my
part.
So… the lesson is:
If you don’t wanna show a profit for 3-5 years,
go ahead and get and run an average business.
If you’re fortunate, you’ll eventually show a
profit. If you’re not so fortunate, you’ll be
one of the 80%+ of businesses that fail.
Or…
You can do things a little different, and start
showing a profit… almost overnight.
